Who we are

We pride ourselves in being an inclusive and safe space for our dancers to learn + grow.

WyND was founded in 2023 by Co-Directors Tiffany Frost and Joshua Manculich. The program exists in close partnership with WhirlWind Dance Company and provides numerous performance opportunities.

The WyND Program offers rigorous training in contemporary, ballet, improvisation, jazz, hi-hop, and tap. Students are encouraged to create and discover their own styles of movement and have a voice in creative choices

Technical training and artistic guidance for our dancers is offered not only through the program’s directors and staff, but also through professional WhirlWind Dance mentors, guest artists/choreographers and community teachers

  • I felt instantly at home with the instructors that genuinely cared about me and my growth

Choosing to train at The Well my senior year was one of the greatest decisions I made for myself, not only as a dancer but as a person. I felt instantly at home with the instructors that genuinely cared about me and my growth, which I am so thankful for since it is a rare thing to find in this day and age. The environment always felt so safe and inviting, I would look forward to spending time there rekindling my love for dance. I truly believe the entire Well faculty and students have made me the dancer I am today. Even though I only trained there for one year, I learned lessons that will last a lifetime. I am forever grateful! – TH Former Student

  • Everything a dancer needs for positive mental health

Our 8 year old daughter is a member of the Wynd too program at the Well Center and I cannot properly express just how impressed I am with the Wynd program and The Well Center. They have truly considered every aspect of dancers of every age. The studio is bright and airy and filled with everything a dancer and a child needs for positive mental health. Their highly skilled instructors focus on providing a well rounded program not solely focused on techniques but also, strength training, mental wellness, and team building. The Well Center has provided my child with a far superior, healthier experience than any previous dance studios we’ve been to. They are far more than just dancers. The care and attention they put into every aspect of each child is truly extraordinary.

  • The excitement is back when they dance

I have a teen and a young girl dancing here. They have nothing but positive things to report and their excitement is now back when they dance. The whole space and everyone there is super supportive while pushing their skills at the same time. The space gives me “Broadway Dance Center” in NYC vibes – I can’t wait to see the growth and joy in my kids as they continue to dance here.

  • WyND prioritizes intimate class sizes and a nurturing environment.

As a parent of a WyND dancer, I cannot recommend WyND Dance Program highly enough. WyND prioritizes intimate class sizes and a nurturing, warm feel that encourages growth both as a dancer and as an individual, all while maintaining an elite level small group training environment. And the opportunity to closely interact and dance with the WhirlWind Professional Dancers regularly makes this program completely unique! The dedication and expertise of WyND’s directors and instructors has truly transformed not only my daughter’s technique and artistry, but also her confidence and love of dance!

  • If you’re ready for your dancing to truly take off, this is the route you need to go

My daughter started taking classes at The Well about 6 months ago. I could not believe the amount of growth in her dancing in such a short amount of time! We decided to join the WyND team and could not be happier! The Whirlwind/WyND teams and teachers are so encouraging, motivating, supportive, welcoming and FUN! Competition dance isn’t for everyone. If you’re ready for your dancing to truly take off, this is the route you need to go.

  • Dancing with WyND dance and being inside the Well Center has been a life changing opportunity

Dancing with WyND dance and being inside the Well Center has been a life changing opportunity. As a family who comes from a more rural area, the WyND dance program has offered our son a haven to cultivate both his dance career and identity as a person. Tiffany and Josh have been the best mentors and have made him feel comfortable with himself as a human and dancer. We are so lucky to have found this space and couldn’t ask for anything better.

  • The class is so well run and engaging...

“We could not be happier with our experience at The WELL and the Little Mover program. The class is so well run and engaging and my daughter looks forward to attending each week. We can't wait to enroll again next season for both of our girls. Highly recommend”!

  • What I love most is the positive atmosphere

"My kiddo has loved the Little Mover Program at The Well. She enjoys learning new ways to move her body. What I love most is the positive atmosphere. They begin every class with affirmations, which she then repeats all week long!"

  • No judgement is pass on you by anyone, the love of dance comes first

When we left our old studio my daughter wasn't sure she loved dance anymore. From her first movement on the dance floor with WyND Too you could see the light come back. I could never thank everyone at WyND Dance for all that they do for young dancers. The way they help them not only learn and grow but understand their body as dancers. That's not something most studios will teach.

You have the option and the choice to compete or to just attend classes and learn and grow. No judgement is passed on you by anyone. The Love of Dance comes first here. You can see it and feel it from the first moment you step into the space. It's so refreshing and not something that is offered everywhere.
